IT security companies enter technical partnership agreement The German IT security experts GeNUA and art of defence work hand-in-hand: while GeNUA Inc. offers high-standard certified firewall solutions, art of defence Inc. offers security software for web applications. These two security technologies complement each other; together they offer security at the gateway between intranet (LAN) and Internet. Both companies have also joined their sales forces in order to make their complete range of security solutions available to their customers in one easy step. GeNUA provides firewall solutions for medium to large businesses and public administrative agencies for reliable security at the LAN-Internet gateway; both the two-tiered firewall GeNUGate and the Stateful package filter GeNUScreen are endorsed by certificates from the German federal agency for security in information technology (BSI) in agreement with CC EAL 4+ for. art of defence, on the other hand, is specialized on safeguarding web applications such as online shops, Internet banking and portals that allow access to sensitive information. The web application firewall hyperguard critically observes access patterns and thus is able to detect unauthorized requests and attacks which are blocked immediately.
It is planned to integrate the web application firewall of art of defence into other security solutions of the partner company in the future.
