What ist hyperscan?

• hyperscan is a Web Application Vulnerability Scan Server

• hyperscan scans your Web applications from the outside for security-related vulnerabilities which an attacker could use to manipulate the Web application or to access data from the Web application or a backend system

• To this end, hyperscan sends special requests, saved in a signature database, to a Web application and analyses the returned responses.

• The scan process can be fully automated and so can be done regularly. This means that vulnerabilities can be detected early so that the risk of a successful attack is substantially reduced.

• Being an appliance with a Web-based user interface, hyperscan can be deployed throughout the company with minimal effort.

• hyperscan is fully client and team-capable and can also be integrated into comprehensive Web application security plans, for example in combination with the hypersource source code analyser and the hyperguard Web application firewall.

The Web vulnerability scan server offers many functions to check Web applications and to generate reports in a simple and regular manner, e.g. for the verification of compliance guidelines- and in addition it offers all the benefits of a cen- tral server such as multi-project and multi-client compatibility.
